Charlie Dimmock at Wallington Library's 90th on Saturday 3 October, £2 Halloween trails from 17 October and four Sutton United home games, all linked.

Wallington Library is 90, and it is marking it on Saturday 3 October with Charlie Dimmock, the novelist Jacqueline Crooks and a choir, free. That is the biggest single date in the borough this week. After it the diary runs through a busy month of gigs in Carshalton and on Sutton High Street, four Sutton United home games, and a half term built around £2 Halloween trails at Whitehall in Cheam and Honeywood in Carshalton.

Everything below comes from the organisers’ own listings, read on 28 September 2026, and every entry links to the page it came from so you can check before you set off. It covers the six weeks to Monday 9 November. For places that are open whatever the month, see our guide to things to do in Sutton.
